Our Goals

We value each and every client's personal situation. In a financial context, that means understanding your goals and preferred styles of investment. More specifically, during our initial meetings, we determine your individual objectives, time horizons, risk tolerance, and income needs. As appropriate, we may also review and discuss your prior investment history, as well as family composition and background.

Your Goals

We manage advisory accounts on a discretionary basis. Account supervision is guided by your stated objectives (i.e., maximum capital appreciation, growth, income, and/or growth and income) as well as tax considerations. You may impose reasonable restrictions on investing in certain securities, types of securities, or industry sectors.

Initial Process

As a client, you will be assigned a Portfolio Manager as well as a Portfolio Consultant. The Portfolio Manager is responsible for the management of your investment portfolio and day-to-day activities. The Manager also serves as a liaison and coordinator of your account relationship. Your Portfolio Consultant is available to you when your primary portfolio manager is unavailable. He or she attends client meetings and will be updated by your portfolio manager on a regular basis.

You retain individual ownership of all securities.

Ongoing Process

Once your investment strategy has been established, we review the portfolios quarterly, and if necessary, rebalance the portfolios based on your individual needs.

To ensure that our initial determination of an appropriate portfolio remains suitable and that the account continues to be managed in a matter consistent with your financial circumstances, we provide the following services:

  • send quarterly reports to each client and request updated information on changes in financial situation and/or investment objectives;
  • at least annually, proactively contact you to determine any changes in financial situation and/or investment objectives;
  • maintain client suitability information in each client's file.

 And, we're always available to respond to your questions about your account and, generally or more specifically, your investment strategy.
